Jennie is a passionate worship leader, team trainer, songwriter, and conference speaker. She is honored as a five-time Dove award nominee and three-time Dove award winner, top five CCLI songwriter, and BMI award winner for top 25 radio. Jennie is best known for authoring "Revelation Song" which had a 17 week run at #1 and current radio hit, "When The Stars Burn Down."
Numerous artists have covered Jennie's songs, including, Kari Jobe, Gateway Worship, Phillips, Craig & Dean, Selah, Newsboys, Travis Cotrell, NewSong (founder of the WinterJam tour), Shane & Shane, Fike (Richie and Dana), Tricia Brock (from Superchick), Rebecca St. James, JJ Heller, Lindell Cooley, Crystal Yates, Charles Billingsley, Sheila Walsh, Matt Papa, Emily Riddle, and many others.
Both Songwriter of the Year and Worship Song of the Year was awarded to Jennie in 2010 for Revelation song. Inspirational Song of the Year was awarded in 2012.
Jennie has a deep love for Jesus and His Church. She has been married to her best friend, Darrin for 23 years and has four children ages 14-22. They reside on a little hilltop in McKinney Texas where they operate New Nation Music, a ministry designed to help to strengthen and equip the Bride. Jennie travels with a young team throughout the Churches in the United States and Europe, mentors, teaches, and leads worship.
The newest endeavor of Jennie's is the forming of People & Songs and the release of Opus 1 Collective, the first in a series.
